The Conti-Crystalliser is a crystallisation unit designed for continuous crystallisation of amorphous (non-crystalline) PET.
The Conti-Crystalliser is supplied in the following two designs:

Vacuum conveying for crystallisation of amorphous granular PET material (type V).
-
Screw conveying for crystallisation of regrind originating from bottle, sheet or film making in either flakes or another free-flowing form (type S).

The crystallisation capacity is dependent on time of crystallisation, bulk density and the individual material.
The crystallisation cycles is completed in approx. 20 minutes for amorphous PET and in 15 minutes for film or bottle regrind owing to its larger surface.
